Sam Glenn-Smith

We love hearing about what our alumni get up to after leaving school!

We love hearing about what our alumni get up to after leaving school! Often, the stories we hear from alumni involve career paths being influenced by particular experiences and interests at school, or by teacher mentors and supporters who had lasting, positive impacts on their lives after school. Sam Glenn-Smith (Class of 2012) is no exception who was recently featured in this month's Mornington Peninsula Magazine.

Sam credits his 'incredible teacher' Alan Wiggs with the passion he now has for diving and the underwater world, and currently operates as a dive guide and underwater photographer. In Year 10, Sam and his dad, Rod, joined Alan on one of his trips to Fiji where Sam learnt to dive. Alan recalls that Sam 'really embraced every moment of his time underwater' and feels proud to have influenced in some way, Sam's passion for the water.

Alan - you've been a selfless, committed teacher and mentor to so many and we thank you for all you have done and continue to do as one of the longest serving teachers at PGS! Sam, we just love your story and wish you all the best as you continue your unique work in your chosen career.
